A regular meet-up on the second Wednesday of every month for Liberal Democrat members, supporters and the Lib Dem curious in the Folkestone and Hythe area!

Simply come along for a social drink and a chat: no speeches, no leaflet delivery. It's a "buy your own" event (sorry!) but come along and say hello to our Councillors, campaigners, members and friends.

The Royal Norfolk Hotel is on Sandgate High Street - there is free parking from 6pm at Castle Road Car Park in Sandgate which is one minute walk away and often on street parking in Castle Road (behind the hotel) as well.

On the 10th of October there is a special By election Hanger Hill ward.

Come and say thank you to Cosmo who is leaving Kingston Lib Dems for a fantastic opportunity in Parliament. 

Cosmo has been our borough party organiser since 2022 and has overseen some fantastic election results including our largest percentage majority in the Kingston and Surbiton constituency ever.

The general election transformed vast stetches of Surrey into Libdemland. So, with the County Council responsible for many essential services, from education to social care, next May’s elections present us with a not-to-be-repeated chance of taking control and making some much needed changes.

Our campaign launch will be your opportunity to find out just how we’re going to do it. You’ll be able to meet our candidates, ask questions, make suggestions and see how you can play your part. Yes, we’ll certainly need leaflet deliverers, but there will also be many other roles to be filled, from monitoring and posting on social media to addressing and stuffing envelopes. There will definitely be a role for YOU!

NO CHARGE for this event, but refreshments will be provided, so to help us cater, please indicate your attendance by ORDERING YOUR FREE TICKET

We welcome Vicky Ellis of CPRE The Countryside Charity as speaker in our popular series of Pizza and Politics events at Guston Village Hall. After Vicky has spoken, there will be plenty of time for questions.

With many properties with entry phones across the ward we are running a special morning delivery session to get as many leaflets as possible delivered in those areas.

Leaflets can be collected between 9am and 10am from 56 Broad Lawn.

Our monthly coffee mornings are back - but we're once agian trying a new location.  This time in Shepherds Bush - at Delina Ethiopian & Eritrean Kitchen.     

No campaigning, no charge - though it is a "pay-your-own-way" event as there isn't a coffe-bar tab.
